When your child is in Year 5 and/or Year 6, you’ll begin to look at the exciting prospect of your child starting secondary school, and continuing their journey in education. The Castle Rock School: 

The Castle Rock School is a vibrant and inclusive 11-18 secondary school and sixth form based in the local community of Coalville. Like Broom Leys, the school is part of the Lionheart Educational Trust, led by Beauchamp College. This means that students from Broom Leys can experience the 14-year-journey of academic excellence with Lionheart Educational Trust.  

At The Castle Rock School, every student is encouraged to strive for their personal best and to enjoy their learning across our broad and balanced curriculum, complemented with a variety of enrichment activities.

The Newbridge School: 

The Newbridge School is an ambitious and nurturing 11-16 secondary school, just minutes away from Broom Leys Primary. The school is also part of the Lionheart Educational Trust, meaning that students from Broom Leys can expect to experience the same exacting standards of excellence.
