Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II 

Broom Leys Primary are deeply saddened by the passing of Her Majesty The Queen.

Her dedication to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and to her other realms and territories is unparalleled and we thank her for her service. 

We will observe the mourning period but continue to support students, families, and staff, as schools remain open in line with guidance from the Department for Education (DfE). Unless otherwise stated, please assume any scheduled activities and events will continue as planned.   

Further information will be shared with families regarding the state funeral, once guidance has been received from the DfE. 

May her legacy continue to inspire our young people and future generations.
